The Bambino is a compact espresso machine that stands out for fast heat up, solid shots, and easy hot water for americanos or tea. Paired with a decent grinder, it can make café style drinks quickly, and the milk frothing is good enough for home use even if it trails pricier models. The main limits are minimal temperature control and a workflow that can feel clunky for long coffees. It is a strong value if speed and espresso quality matter more than extra features.

I bought the $400 Bambino plus version. Instead of this. I like the idea of, some special valve that allows for drier pucks, auto milk frothing, and a slightly larger tank capacity.

I am new to espresso gang, but I personally bought a hand crank grinder - TIMEMORE C5 ESP Pro. I am currently pulling pretty good shots from an old breville espresso machine. It does take about 2 minutes of crankin' for 13g of beans.
That sounds perfect...

Me... I hate cleaning the milk wand so I just put a little milk in the microwave to warm up and I use the regular bambino which In terms of the actual espresso extraction, the coffee quality is identical. Both machines use the same 15-bar Italian pump, 54mm portafilter, and ThermoJet heating system to pull professional-grade shots.

I also don't have an issue with wet pucks... just the very very top layer is wet and the rest of my puck is dry.

Hey I'm a pour over guy too have so many different ones hario, kalita, aeropress etc. mind I ask why no more pour overs? Are you making americanos with this bambino?
I do mostly americanos BUT instead of a shot or double shot and then add water I just run a long double shot twice. It is a long press on the double shot button. Eash long shot is about 4 ozs.

So, the first thing I do is run hot water through the machine, this heats up the unit. Immediately after I start my double shot and at the same time do my milk in the microwave. I then have to restart the double shot and after the second long double shot is finished so is my milk.

brevillepro.com
Has anyone heard of this site ? looks fake.
that is not a legitimate site. It is a scam website designed to look like the official Breville store.

The official website for Breville in the United States is breville.com.

Here are several red flags identifying brevillepro.com as a scam:

Incorrect Domain: Scammers often add words like "pro," "shop," or "sale" to a brand name (e.g., brevillepro.com instead of breville.com) to trick people.

Suspicious Pricing: These sites often list high-end espresso machines at "too good to be true" prices to lure buyers into a quick purchase.

Lack of History: Fake sites like this are typically registered very recently and have no long-term reputation or verified customer reviews on independent platforms like Trustpilot or the Better Business Bureau.

Official Sources: Breville does not have a separate "Pro" website for its consumer espresso machines. All authentic products, including the Bambino and the Barista Pro, are sold directly through their main site or through authorized major retailers.

If you are looking for the Breville Bambino, it is safest to purchase it directly from the official breville.com website or well-known authorized retailers.

I have this machine paired with the Breville Smart Grinder Pro. The espresso machine is pretty outstanding at its price point. I would definitely look for a better grinder, though.

So when I said... run hot water through the machine... I mean through the wand... this is enough IMHO to make sure you get a hot beverage.

The only negative that I have is that you do not have any control over how hot the water gets.

But not only does it make a good espresso, it is also great for tea lovers since it produces hot water immediately.

I also noticed how easy it is to remove the pucks... It is just a slight tap and they fall out.

I don't have much negative to say besides wishing I can have plus or minus 3 degrees of temp control would have been nice. I would have preferred a "standard" professional size basket. I wish it could make a single long espresso that turns off when you hit a button... it is best for it not to stop when you make a cup of coffee and as I explained before, I need to do it in two steps. I always worry about the plastic water container braking but that is my issue.

I highly recommend this product. I got a used like new sale at Amazon for 182.50 and of course it was not like new... the plastic water container was cracked... in a spot that does not matter so I called Amazon and demaned $50.00 off or I return it... they agreed to my terms... So I paid $132.50.

Consider a calibrated tamper and bottomless portafilter.
