It's the lowest price it's been for a while, and they bumped it back up to 1400 for a few weeks again until just today, so it's the best deal you've been able to get on this one up to now (excluding YMMV clearance or open box deals).
That said, new models are supposed to come in a few months, so they'll probably go on clearance when they do, but who knows what that looks like.

I want to upgrade from my old Sony Bravia from 2020 (A8H) would this be a good buy or should I wait for the 75" QM8K or Bravia 7 to go on sale? I just want something brighter, my TV just doesn't get bright and the game mode doesn't have VRR/HDMI 2.1

Buy the Bravia. Can you trust a company that mislabels its TVs QLED on purpose when they are not?(look it up they just lost in court in Germany)
