I've been using this exact cable to connect my MBP to my USB-C display for months without issue. Handles my USB audio and several other USB-A devices (KB/M) connected to the display, too. It's pretty flexible/supple for a TB5 cable, which are usually pretty thick/stiff.
Got it for about this same price back in July. Would buy again.

How exactly did you test? This appears to be a certified Thunderbolt cable so I'd be pretty skeptical if it didn't work as advertised.

Many reviews are for different cables that are no longer part of this listing
