Depending on your TV you could have audio interference based on how you supply power to these adapters; an audio device being powered by a TV USB hub is liable to generate an annoying buzz/hum, so be sure you can power it from a separate source (even some cheaper wall warts will cause this interference if not properly shielded). I've had this problem with two different TVs now—granted, they were slightly older TVs, but both were new enough to be considered "smart".

Been happy with most of my Ugreen products, but this in crapped the bed in 45 days. Used it in workout room, so about 4 hours a week for 6 weeks was too much for it. I concede this is an N=1 review of a product line.

Will any of these units adjust for Bluetooth lag (that causes lip sync)?

Battery powered? If you're looking for something for your car, just go with a phone charger/FM transmitter. If you're an audiophile there may be a difference, but that's not my usecase.

Word of warning on this device. It shuts itself off after a period of time of inactivity, and you have to physically power it back on to use it again. Maybe not a big deal, but if you have it in a location that is difficult to get to, it can be a real pain after a while.

I had one and returned it for that reason.

Every bluetooth device has latency, regardless of the price. It all depends on how it impacts you. I definitely cannot use BT headphones while watching live concerts or movies where your brain has to work harder to sync your vision and audio you're listening to, instead of enjoying. They are great on devices with no video.
