Way better in my opinion. Had many of both Motorola and Samsungs (Power, Plays, A15 A16 ect) in this price range and the Samsungs run way smoother even though in many cases the specs on paper are better on the Rolas.

Great deal for a backup phone, kept in drawer... There, in event your primary is lost, stolen, broken. At the end of the year, eBay the unlocked A16 for what you paid for it, or a couple dollars more.

BTW... I've read that the A16 gets 6 years of OS updates from Samsung.

Motos are the best value phones. But you should go with the better Stylus model over the G Power. My 2022 Moto G Stylus 5g is still going strong. If you look at the specs between the 2025 Moto G Stylus 5g and A16 the Stylus is superior in almost every way except software/security updates. Personally the A16's 4 GB RAM is a non-starter. You really going to be using a 4 GB RAM phone for the next 6 years?

You're not getting 8gb ram in these phones, at these prices
That said, the 4 gb RAM is usable for the price.
Btw you can always double check features by typing in the query in the Rufus question box. If you put in "ram" it answers back 4gb and also lists relevant customer reviews, if available.

Yeah it's 4GB. I think you would have to import the 8GB version.

plus the motorola may not update to android 16 where as the samsung will.

It's not just gaming. Even browsing the web or just navigating your phone can be sluggish on 4 GB RAM. The minimum one should buy should be at least 6 GB but 8 GB are common now too, like Moto's G Stylus, so there's no reason to settle for 4 GB.

IMO motorola Deal is better, Moto G Power 2024 is 3 times faster than this laggy phone, the only cons will be won't get the lastest Android anymore, but that will make this phone just even slower.
