Wow just bought one of these for 30. It's a great light/headlamp and definitely worth what I payed. I chose it over the HS21 for the included pocket clip and magnetic tail cap and don't regret it one bit.

It's good and I use it a ton walking my dogs and jogging when it's dark, but I still find myself needing a dedicated flashlight for extra range.

Last time I bought a phone case on aliexpress i was charged 98$ inspection and import fee of some type. the case was 12$ . Would buying this trigger an import fee too? I kind of like the features and style of this headlamp

They are using "dynamic pricing" like it's a Ticketmaster on sale. Really obnoxious and makes me not want to buy from them anymore.

Apparently by following the "easy steps" of using a vpn from another device with a new account will keep the price what it is listed here.

I find it online when not logged in, then any login method I use it bumps back up to $23.

I'd also use the AE app to see if you have any "Welcome" promotions. I was able to get the Sofirn HS21 (considered better than the HS42) for $15 after coupons/taxes. I haven't shopped at AE in ages, so I guess they gave my account a promo.
