I bought a pair of their mid waterproof hikers on sale for about this price last year. I am hard on hikers. I go through about 2-3 pair a year, and that is if they are decent. Junk ones get worn and go right to the garbage. I'm not special, I just don't like to have wet feet when I am working outdoors. Nothing says give me blisters like wet socks sliding inside a hiker all day. Plus wet feet just suck, then the boots have to be dried. They remained waterproof for 6 months. Couldn't believe it. They have been in mud over the top of the cuff. They have been doused in chemicals, hit by spray paint, oil, gas, and they still work. I've worn high tec altitude IV leather for years and they last maybe as long as these, for twice the price. Now I am on the find the cheaper hikers and see what works, then buy in bulk.
Ok, so the mids were tight at the top and a little snug on the bottom. After a break in period, they felt fine.

I have their 9" tactical men's boot and think they're great. Got 'em on an Amazon sale. Incredible price, like sure I'll give them a try for the price price. I replaced a pair of Merrills that I'd basically worn out but for $178 I wasn't in any rush to buy again (happy with those Merrills too, just a steep price). I've had these NORTIVs for about 15 months now and have been damn pleased for the fit, comfort, wear resistance, tread life and value. Only reason I can't do these is they aren't tall enough (bad ankles)

Not really understanding this...Its not a brand because the stores you like don't carry it?
This brand seems up and coming with inexpensive options that someone with a need for less doesn't have to spend twice the amount for a over inflated rival brand at the stores you listed.
I have a pair of the tactical boots & their barefoot shoes and I can't see myself getting ripped off by another brand for more money.

anybody have experience with this boot/brand?
I bought this hiking boot for my outdoorsy son for Christmas of 24, thinking I was getting quality based on previous slick deal reviews. Within one year we had to buy new hiking boots for him. The sole separated from the boot. Less than 100 miles of wear and then in the trash.

My wife and daughter have the slip on sneakers from Nortiv. I used to work for New Balance and bought them New Balance shoes prior to their Nortiv purchase. They claim it's just as good and my daughter likes them much more than the New Balance 9060 I got her, simple because she doesn't always have to stop and tie the laces. She uses these at her PT job where she's on her feet all throughout her shift in Taco Bell working the drive thru and kitchen. I'd recommend these based on that alone because she is EXTREMELY Picky

I have a pair of WP hikers that got wet inside on a 10 day hike. Any suggestions on how to get rid of swamp foot / mildew funk?
There are a couple of things you could do, but most involve time. First thing is hose the inside and outside of the boot off, maybe hit them with a brush and some soap, then drain. Take out the laces, open the top all the way, set them on a porch/patio/deck/window ledge where they will get full sun. angle them, so the sun gets in. If they have removable inserts take them out and clean them. Give it a day or two (depending on your climate), the sun will normally bake them dry and remove some funk. After that it is foot powder placed inside, smack and shake it around some, dump the extra out. Alternatively, they do make boot dryers, or you can use a hair dryer on a low setting placed inside a boot then switch later.
When I played soldier a long time ago, our boots would get muddy and soaked often. If you are in the bush/on a hike, always pack extra socks in a ziplock bag, and some moleskin. So you will just dump the water out, wring out the socks, moleskin, and hump hump hump. We called it humping a ruck - some people call it hiking.

I bought a pair last fall and returned them after a hike..my feet were soaked with sweat as these boots do not breathe at all. Sweat=blisters. Go with Danner, Keen, Merrell or Columbia. These are Temu chit.

I picked these up a few days ago.
I usually wear size 11, so I ordered size 11. They fit just right.
They are way comfier than my Wolverine Floorhands.

Reviews note these are narrow for those who need wide sizing usually.

I owned one Nortiv pair of totally different design with self tighten laces - they are very comfortable but quality is not even close to smth like Columbia/Merrel - laces were torn in several months, a sole was unglued at the shoe nose, they start leaking. But I still wear them as they are light and comfy. So I got this pair yesterday and I already shipped it back - this pair is stiff, my heel goes up and down when I walk, even though the shoe feels tight around the foot. So I disappoint in this specific model or may be Nortiv just rebrands other shoes from noname manufacturers

Good for casual hikes or work, but probably not for serious trails.
