Good price for a proven 240W cable from a reputable brand. As much as I think Apple stuff is overpriced, I'd much rather spend the extra $10 on an Apple branded cord I know with certainty is certified and will work.
I am surprised apple didn't make their own unit of measurement by now since they loved making proprietary stuff for years finally getting shot down by EU with USB-C.
Depending on your Macbook version, it might still charge at 100W (displays 90-something). In those versions, 140W can only be done via the Magsafe cable.
