I'm in the same boat. I can't find a decent electric mower for under $600. Decent gas is about $400-$500 for my lawn

You can get generic 5ah 60v batteries for $80 on Amazon.
Cant tell any difference from the OEM ones other then the button to check the charge is way easier to push on the generic.
