Just to be sure everyone understands - People/Pets/Plants MUST BE VACATED from the space when this is in use. The ozone it produces displaces oxygen and can possibly KILL many living things.

The smoke smell in my car is almost all gone after 2 uses. The smoke smell in my couch cushions was removed in one use (i had a very large plastic bag that I used to keep the ozone mostly inside near the couch. Really impressed with how well it worked.
I closed all other doors, moved the plants to a different room, and put towels under the other doors. I also covered the furnace air return vents with plastic wrap so it wouldn't run into other rooms. I was extra cautious due to the warnings from everyone. I started it up on the 1-hour timer and went to a movie and dinner. When I came back the room was ventilated enough, but I opened the doors for 30 minutes and turned on some vents to be extra sure. It all worked as planned.
For the car, I just ran an extension cord through a cracked window and ran it for 30 minutes. Opened the windows, and opened my garage door for 30 minutes once it was done and it worked fine. I just held my breath when I went back out to open the windows once it was done.
