Just to be sure everyone understands - People/Pets/Plants MUST BE VACATED from the space when this is in use. The ozone it produces displaces oxygen and can possibly KILL many living things.

An ozone generator is basically a strong odor-removal/disinfection machine that works by flooding an empty space with reactive gas — effective for some smell problems, but not safe to breathe.
It often doesn't fix the source of the smell (like hidden mold, soaked carpet, water damage).
It's good if you're a squatting smoker.
And it dosent dissipate if aired out I guess?

Everything I am reading is that coming in contact with the "Fresh" ozone wont "Kill" ya, not at this level unless your directly breathing it in mouth to fan! It will however irritate your mucus membranes (Eyes and esp Lungs) if you are exposed to it for long enough or have other medical conditions.
Best way to do this is to run it in a room where you aren't recirculating the air out into other rooms and is fairly closed/sealed and that you run this for however time but then don't enter for at least 2+ hours. That timeframe converts Ozone which was ionized from O2 (regular breathable oxygen) into O3 (Ozone) back into regular O2 Oxygen (called halflife?).
Like other have said this isnt airborne that you come in contact and now are "infected" or have long-term issues effects unless you are doing something silly. Let it run, take a deep breath and cover your nose and let that room air out for a while.
It does affect other organic things, kills plants and will surely mess up your pets so dont leave those in and around the machine while running. It also reacts to other things like paint and other things like even electrical wire sheathing, leather etc (anything organic)? Again, i'd not run this in a car or room for hours and hours at end esp without long airing.
