This seems like a prepackaged bucket with overpriced and proprietary replacements for mosquito dunks?
6-pack of mosquito dunks on Amazon is $10 and a few small buckets would be another $5-10. So would be a lot cheaper to get more coverage with dunks+buckets and really not any more work.
I don't think this is advertised to work the same as your traditional dunks. I may be wrong but I understand dunks as a substance which kills the larvae in the bucket. This system advertises that it contaminates the mosquitoes and allows it to spread within the community to eventually kill them. Ideally it sounds like both dunks and this system can help!

yeah i use dunks on standing water that pools from sprinklers or rain and they work well to kill lavae but this seems to claim to kill adult mosquitoes as well.

Dig a hole and/or improve drainage.
If you have standing water from sprinklers you are watering too much.

I'm a big dunks user (the 6 pack on the cardboard) and while they do work well, it's difficult to remember to do each week for me because I am stupid.
I also use the yeast bait tubes. Those work like gangbusters until they don't.
Rufus answer when asked about the active ingredient. I've also seen this answer for BT products.
"The Ortho Home Defense Mosquito Kill & Prevent station doesn't have the active ingredient listed on the product page. However, based on the product Q&A, Ortho mentions they use a biological fungus that targets mosquito larvae and is only toxic to insects, not birds or mammals."
