Couldn't agree more, but you will go through that 2.5 pretty quick if you have a lot of leaves. And putting the 5.0 makes it a bit heavy, so I'd recommend grabbing another 2.5 so you can have one charging while using the other. Note that I believe this charger is the slow one, so it will not charge a 2.5 in the time it takes you to go through one. But if you are doing light clearing of a porch, path or driveway, this is a beast.

You can get this deal or try today's luck for 670. Interesting choice...

I have a Ryobi leaf blower (18V, not 40). Think this is worth the upgrade? Already have an Ego mower so this wouldn't be a one off battery.

My son wants something to push himself around the neighborhood on rollerblades.

I get that its more CFM, but can anyone comment on how much better 670 vs 615? Mostly to use around the house moving light dry leaves and occasionally the wet piled ones.

Battery capacity is a joke. That'll last 7 minutes.

Would the 5.0ah really make it that much heavier?

I have an ego snow blower that uses the 56v batteries. The ones I have are the 7.5ah ones. This would be perfect for me. (although some might think I'm a lunatic for using the 7.5s with this thing, lol.

I would not believe anyone that says they think there is a noticeable difference between the two.

No. You'll just get annoyed using this with the 2.5 because of how quickly the battery drains. I use the 10mah on mine just fine.

Keep in mind that the blowing force tapers down significantly shortly after you get lower than 50% battery remaining.

So what's the deal? You all have the back back for the 10ah? And stuff like this. Blowing leaves is great but not if you're struggling the entire time
