The Dexley is a wide all mesh ergonomic chair that stands out for comfort, especially for taller or larger frames, with better armrests and lumbar support than the Hyken. Long term reports are strong on durability, with chairs still going after several years and Staples warranty support replacing broken parts quickly and for free. The main caveats are a short headrest for people over 6 feet, possible squeaks or armrest cracking over time, and some mesh or seat wear after years of use. It is a solid value at this sale price if the fit works for you.
The deal can stack discounts through new-account signups and coupons, producing lower out-the-door totals.
The chair can qualify for warranty parts replacement after a short call, with free shipping for eligible claims.
The chair can feel comfortable for long daily use, including reports of solid durability since before COVID.
The all-mesh seat design can stay supportive for some owners, with mesh holding up for years before any major failure.
The chair can squeak or creak, including reports of loud squeaking that silicone did not fix.
The headrest can feel too short for taller users, and it may function like a neck rest instead.
The chair can develop armrest cracking over time, including reports of cracked armrests after years of use.
The chair can have reclining lockout or base issues, including reports of an ovaled lockout hole and a cracked star base that scraped floors.

I got a pop-up for 15 off 60 for signing up (new account). I couldn't replicate it though, so I'm not sure exactly what triggered it. It has literally been years since I've browsed Staples website.
i "slept on it" and got an email for $10
(it was some long single use all digit code)
about an hour after new registering;

so i guess i have a new office chair on the way - yay me.
The Dexley is great for the price. I've been enjoying it. If I see another fancy chair on FB marketplace I might swap, but currently it's doing the job well.

For this price point they're pretty hard to beat but they're obviously not the best of the best. I've had my Hyken for about 4-5 years and have found it great comfort wise. It did start to sag a bit after a year so I did one of the common mods for these and bought a square piece of furniture foam from Walmart for $10 and jammed it under the mesh which instantly solved the issue and still holds up to this day. The arm rests also started to split on the sides but its more of a visual eyesore than a comfort issue. I'd say I'm more than satisfied by it as a casual desk chair but if I had to WFH more often I'd probably spring for something nicer like a Herman Miller.
