This foaming coil cleaner is valued as an easy way to clear caked on grime from AC coils, mini splits, RV units, and even heater cores, with reports that it improves appearance, cooling, and sometimes lowers power use. The formula is described as lemony fresh and less harsh than bleach based cleaning, while still loosening debris that a hose alone may miss. The main cautions are that it may take two cans for a larger unit, and the bottle does not appear to include a tube for tight spaces. A practical pick for routine coil maintenance when access and coverage matter.

Attention Tesla owners lol. This is what you use to get rid of that awful dirty sock smell after AC runs on older ish vehicles
It doesn't appear to come with a tube. Do you simply spray in the opening after you take out the cabin air filters?

Wouldn't 10 minutes of my time and using a garden hose to wash the coils do the same thing?
Yes, you can hose off your home A/C condenser coil and even use dish detergent or any other liquid soap or cleanser on the outside unit. It's best to spray from the inside of the unit to dislodge leaves, grass, and debris which are mostly on the outer fins. These coil cleaners are most useful for refrigerator condenser coils, HVAC evaporator, and other areas where it's not practical to hose it down or where you might have embedded dirt or sticky grease and grime.

get this and save yourself $100 cleaning. I do hose off the unit after foam sits for a while.

I had read on a HVAC pro forum that many of them use dilute simple green in a sprayer to clean the coils safely and effectively for a fraction of the cost. I'm not pro myself so only have experience on my own condenser coil, but it seemed to work fine
