If someone is buying one of these for a computer or other equipment that's worth some money, I'd suggest going with a more reputable brand like APC, TrippLite, or CyberPower. Build quality is likely better, components are likely better, performance is likely superior, and the warranty service is likely more reliable. It's not worth saving a few dollars if what you're protecting is worth far more.
I need to find a cheap UPS to back up my wifi extender, but the formerly cheap APC one is "marked down" to $70. Dang it.
Shows a $13 coupon off for me. Can anyone tell me the use case for this? I very infrequently lose power, don't leave PC turned on etc. I guess to keep internet modem running in the event of a power outage?
