10 calories per gram of protein is high protein. That is a 250 gram pace for a 2500 calorie diet. Unless you're a competitive body builder or professional athlete, that's way more protein than you need to add muscle (1.6 g per kg of body weight is the ideal spot for non athletes). This is a snack, not a meal replacement. You should be getting all of your protein from your food without supplements, but this is a perfectly fine snack on days where you're falling short.

The real problem with this item is that there is zero fiber in it. THAT is why it's not worth getting. There have been quite a few items around this price point and protein ratio on this site recently that also have some fiber in them.

What do you think is the best protein drink that has enough fiber in it? I'm noticing problems with no fiber if you know what I mean!

I don't know, but do agree that it would be more beneficial to have fiber.

I am not an expert on these drinks, at all! I don't typically get stuff like this unless it's a great price for a product that doesn't expire quickly. I redid my diet, and I started with fiber. I made it my monthly goal to hit my fiber 90+% of the days in a month before I moved on to the next goal of hitting fiber and protein 90+% of the time (it took four months to get to that goal, so don't give up if it's tough the first month or so).

I did comment on a similar post last week, though. https://slickdeals.net/f/19325013

That one has the same 10:1 calorie to protein ratio that isn't bad, but it adds in the 3 grams of fiber. Adults only need 25-38 grams, so that's not a horrible amount.

My biggest recommendation would be to start the day with a homemade shake. That gets me 50% of my fiber to kick off the day. Makes it much easier. My shake has:
Skim milk
Kefir
Nonfat Greek yogurt
Rolled oats
Chia seed
Cinnamon
Peanut butter or walnuts
Blueberries
Strawberries
Honey

You can add some whey protein for a little boost on that front too, but even without it there is a solid amount of protein.

I've been drinking that every morning for a year and a half. It's been super helpful in starting the day off on the right foot, and keeping me full for hours.

Good luck with your goals of improving the things fiber helps with. Haha! I can tell you that I went from doing that activity anywhere from 5-8 times a day, and definitely within an hour of every meal, to now I just need to take care of it once in the morning and MAYBE one other time each day. It's been SOOOOOO worth the changes.
