I did one like this several years ago. Verizon confirmed the cancellation and then sent me to collections for $80. Was still on my credit report this year, although I was told I won the dispute and it was removed. I won't be doing it again.

Before purchasing a Motorola phone research the glance app that comes pre installed. I just purchased 3 moto phones and I had to switch them all to Samsung because the glance app interferes with the medical app I need. Literally a potentially life or death situation and Motorola will not do anything to help.

Almost did an impulse buy, but if you actually activate with Verizon remember that you still have a $40 activation fee on your first bill. Which puts this at $70 ish for me. Not impulse buy territory for this phone. They go for around $90-100 on eBay for open box.

The phone is an unlocked device and NOT locked or linked to Verizon/ATT in anyway. The device can be used as any other unlocked device from day1. This is just a bundled offer where on gets $100 off the phone's price with a new line activated. Please refer to instructions in OP.

Phone is unlocked from get go. You pay $40 activation fee and one month service to Be able to buy it for $27. If unable to cancel fee you may pay $67

Yes. I have a spare last time these were on sale cheap. No sim card, just wifi calling with google voice. My google voice is connected to this and my other main phone, so it's like having a second phone with free wifi calling I can leave in my shop without having to remember to bring it back in the house.
