That gift card deal pops up a couple times a year too. $35-40 is normal price most of the year.

I got the previous deal with the promise of $20 but just so people know Amazon does not give you any indication it is locked in and the terms say that you will get an e-mail 30 days later informing you that you will get the credit. If I check my invoice or order info there's nothing else there. So time will tell if they will actually deliver since I have not done this before

You need to screenshot the page that does have the offer to refute they will almost certainly not give you anything until you complain

It's not a visible credit like gift cards or the "no rush" credits. You'll just see it available when you go to buy something after 30 days have passed.
The last time I bought something that got one of the credits I thought they scammed me (I had gotten dog food and had waited the time and didn't see it) Then the next time I was gonna buy something from amazon I saw the available account credit in the checkout lol
