All these folding phones are notable for the screens cracking and needing replacement.
Why do they go out?
Because they keep being folded in the same place.

Specs are pretty good for the price... I agree.
BUT...
"cracked screens" at the fold are a known characteristic of the technology
Real-World Durability & Known Issues
1. Screen Protector Cracks: The most frequent complaint is not the screen itself breaking, but the factory-installed screen protector developing hairline cracks or peeling at the hinge.
2. Crease Evolution: A visible and tactile crease exists at the fold from day one. Some users experience display failure due to microscopic manufacturing defects, usually within the first year.
3. Hinge Longevity: The hinge is rated for approximately 125,000 folds (roughly 3 years of heavy use). Some users have reported "creaking" or slight noises during opening, often attributed to the screen protector's movement.
4. Environmental Sensitivity: Debris like dust or pocket lint can enter the hinge mechanism and potentially cause internal damage over time.
I don't think we are there yet... a foldable phone that works ALL the time and will last as long as a non foldable phone. What bothers me the most is that they make it to last only a short life, this is what I don't understand.
Don't be fooled and buy the regular Moto Razr (non-plus). The plus gives you a lot more processor power.
Not really interested in discussing the longevity of the folding phones, everyone understands they are more fragile.
