It is really questionable if this is any "deal" at all ... You might get at a comparable price a Samsung A16 which is a 2024 model and has better specs AND it has a dual-sim (SIM+eSIM) option.

I don't know a single person that cares about dual sim, and the part about "better specs" is arguable. If you're comparing the A16 model near that price, which is 128gb storage + 4gb ram, the snapdragon 6 gen 1 in the motorola has better benchmarks. Despite the LCD vs AMOLED, the motorola also has a higher refresh and slightly higher resolution. Honestly, I'd probably take the motorola over an A16.

SIM + eSIM is very useful if you travel. I'm shopping for a travel burner right now infact. Taking a cruise in the not too distant future and my daily drive device is carrier carrier locked. Want something to load a cruise data eSIM, my normal carrier SIM and another eSIM for shore data.

EOL for it is in 2030 too. Looking for an inexpensive phone with eSIM with security updates through the decade. Thanks for the heads-up.
