I need to know this also, never charged at EVGO before?

Also, any tips on how to use the full $10 and then STOP it? Is there a screen to watch that shows the cost so far or do you have to watch the App?
It shows the total in the app, but I notice it's always a minute or so behind, so stop it once the total is like $8 or $8.50 to reduce the risk of going over.

Thanks OP.
They get automatically applied without doing anything

Anyone know how easy it is to get uber or lyft gold status to get free gold tier evgo rates?
There is a system in place comprising of rating 4.85 or higher, certain number of points like 1000 in quarterly or something with each ride completed gives 1 to 3 points each or similar, acceptance rate of 85% or higher, cancelation rate (after accepting ride and canceling it) less than 4%, and driving techniques like how you brake, slow down to a halt, and pump to accelerate etc 90% or higher. You start with Uber Pro, least percent off at ego, and go to next tier tiers Gold diamond, Platinum etc by fulfilling the above criteria in each quarter or trimester. I believe Diamond is the highest status with 45% discounts on the normal rates at the station. Plus no per sessions fee nor any monthly charges.

Thanks for sharing! Seems like way too many near-perfect rides and wear-and-tear are required to warrant saving $ on a monthly evgo subscription having same discounts. Maybe better for me to meet a rideshare pro willing to link their account with mine if I chase that path haha.
There was also some other loophole I was paying some guy $10 or $15 per session and he activated me remotely, but I don't think it was a new vehicle unlimited charging promo cause he was able to start others in parallel and dispensers didn't cut me off after an hour. Hmmm.

I highly doubt you could have used his "unlimited" incentive tied to his new vehicle. When you plug in, the syem reads the car make/model, VIN etc especially for those with free unlimited incentive with new car purchase. I am curious if he used some monthly membership with unlimited charges. Even then too many fill-ups would have flagged his account.

You can definitely use an unlimited car plan tied to a new vehicle on an alt vehicle. I've used it on a friend's Toyota activated BZ on my Rivian R1T. I did the same with EA until they upgraded to their newest gen chargers which better detect the vehicle + mac type, but I haven't had issues doing so with EVGO, perhaps they didn't have an allowlist for vins. But let's not give them ideas.
One option is having a bunch of different accounts and VCCs pre-authing the bare minimum $5, but each account requires SMS verification on signup, and accrues a negative balance before collections.

How does EVgo know that I already used these codes? They remember our phone ID? If that's the case, does any body know the tool to change a rooted Android phone id?

I still have $26 credit from a few months ago and that doesn't expire till the end of this year. If I redeem these $5 ones, how do I ensure they get used before the one that expires later?
