I need to know this also, never charged at EVGO before?

Also, any tips on how to use the full $10 and then STOP it? Is there a screen to watch that shows the cost so far or do you have to watch the App?

Yes, the credit get used up first. You can monitor and stop the charging session with screen on the charger.

For me, it gets loaded as a balance into the account and does not need to get used up in one go, but I haven't charged with them in a few months so not sure if that has changed or not. $10 would get used up pretty quickly for me anyhow so I can't see not using it up all at once anyway. It gets used automatically before it bills your CC.

I believe they use the credits first. I used an EV Go for the first time a few weeks ago and it was a little confusing as I thought it charged my card on file, but the transaction actually just took off the credits I had in my account. You can see your credits by going to Payment & Billing > Transactions. In my Transactions, that charging session shows $0.00 but in the receipt it says "credit applied". Hope that helps.

its great that they offer credit, but never had chance of really using it.
they dont have sufficient network in my area, as well as high cost with session fees.
