My 9-year-old and I really like this game. It's pretty basic, with a minimum of frills, and it can be hard to tell what killed you, but the upgrade system is nice, the announcers are entertaining, and it's very satisfying to chop robots, fire-breathing raptors, and giant spiders into pieces with laser swords and arrows.
Co-op is nice, though I wish we could play through the standard campaign together.

Plays fine on the Steam Deck via Heroic. Announcers and funny and the humor is dark while still remaining light at the same time. However game seems to lack any persistent upgrades (between runs) so the only way to progress is 'git good' (or better)....which I failed to do....at least before getting bored with the cycle. Also combat, especially shooting is very awkward.

Still worth a download.
