Been using the AA version of this for Quest controller and they have been working pretty well. It is very convenient to charge. It will die without a warning so be careful using in essential items like your alarm clock!

Most AAA batteries are measured in mAh, not mWh. 1,300 mWh at 1.5v is 867mAh. For a fair comparison to NiMh batteries which operate at 1.25v, it would be 1,040 mAh, which is pretty good for AAA. There maybe some loss for the voltage conversion from 4V to 1.5 V inside the battery but it's probably pretty small. Let's call it an even 1,000 mAh.

No 1.5v lithium AAA will be 1300mAh...NONE (1300mWh/1.5v = 867mAh). The electronics have to be packed into that tiny can along with the chemistry. Not enough room.
NONE of ANY of the HW batteries meet spec. Most 1.5v batteries do not meet spec. Best I've EVER tested get to ~90%.

These will be no different. I have 5 different brands of 1.5v AAA, all tested with lab grade equipment. The best, Tenavolt AAA (WITHOUT USB), makes it to 680mAh.
ALL the rest are 300-400mAh. The ones with USB charging are the bottom.

A guy in Amazon that tested them got:
[So basically I am seeing (generously) 400mAH for the higher load case. Again, this does not really supprise me, they ALL are greatly overrated has been my experience. I test high and low load where low load can give better results. With these I need 200ma so tested and monitored with that load. Overall I only mildly disappointed because I know from experience testing many brands that they ALL greatly overstate capacity.]

I wouldn't believe that 1000 cycles either. That is an unknown until REAL field tests and these have not been out long enough. Marketing can't be trusted.

Yeah that is the only major downside. Most devices that use swappable batteries are expecting voltage dropoff that lets them see when the device is low but since lithium ion is 3.7v this reduces it to 1.5v which is below the point that a battery would normally stop working so the device never sees a dip until the very last second.
