Good deck if you have a friend curious about magic or want to try it yourself. Not powerful compared to the recent pre-cons but dragons are fun and are a gateway drug for many in the hobby to building out uber expensive dragon decks.

Thats not a great metric of whether a deck is worth it. ALL precons are more to buy individually because they contain a lot of bulk that add up.

I would say this actually makes it a bad deal if the difference is only $15. These decks recently got a reprint and many stores are selling the entire 5-pack set for only $90.

Not this one. It was from the run of "starter" Commander decks, which they have not done again since, and the overall power is quite a bit lower than even your average run of the mill Commander precon. This one was the best of the bunch and has wildly fluctuated in price, but for what you get, $28 isn't great, especially considering it is $25 on TCG Player and you can find all 5 starter decks as a bundle for $100.
