They have always been around that price, nothing new. I personally never buy Shake Shack unless I get a deal like this BOGO one, which makes it worth it.

It's $10.99 for me (Bay Area, CA), which ends up being $11.99 after our almost 10% sales tax. It's a yummy burger, but it was SMALL! Can't imagine paying $10.99 for just 1 small burger. Our local remaining Red Robin has a $9.99 haystack burger special that includes bottomless fries and a drink. That burger is small (and yummy), but it at least includes the bottomless fries...
