If a consumer isn't wise enough to check that section, they probably don't know the difference between IPS, VA, or any other anyway.

Credit to PBouge for noticing the price drop in the previous thread.

Thanks to OP (Eragorn) finding the G81SF for $512 (with an additional free companion monitor!) in January, I was able to "upgrade" and sell this monitor for $400 used on FB marketplace.
I enjoyed it a lot and for anyone that doesn't already have a gaming monitor or one this size... I highly recommend curved for screens above 27". That is my primary complaint about the G81SF... 32" without a curve is just too much for my taste/preference. It's unfortunate that the 27" OLED doesn't receive the same discounts and is more expensive because my ideal setup would be two 27" to replace my G9 49" and to not have a separate desk for gaming like I do now.
This monitor at this price is a steal and getting RE for free with it makes this an extremely slick deal.
Wanted 32" 4k, and more than 60hz, mainly for use with my macbook. I already have a 27" 2k 240hz monitor (the older odyssey g7) for gaming, so that'll move to become my secondary/gaming monitor while this becomes the primary.
I looked into this vs the neo G8 that's also on sale right now for $400, and that one seems to have the scanline issue that my g7 has (unacceptable at this price imo), so the g7 makes more sense for me.
Honestly very happy with the price, hopefully no issues when I get it.

Any other options which are a bit bigger?
How come I see it $350 before adding to my cart, but after adding it to the card it becomes $599?
I have a 32' 4k Samsung monitor the uj59 one and that monitor is very dull. It's the basic one on Amazon and best buy and the old popular one from a while back. It isn't height adjustable or anything like that. The other thing is because it's 32' 4k monitor and a flat monitor, I use a 6 foot folding table, even putting it as far back as I can on the table, it's hard to look at the corners of the monitor because of how big the monitor is.
I know Samsung has a 32' odyssey 4k curved monitor as well. Would any of the 32' 4k curved, 37' 4k curved or this 40' 5k curved be superior to the Samsung uj59 monitor I have? Now would you say there is a big difference between the this 40' one and the 37' one? I always felt that the 37' size is a bit awkward? To me, monitor sizes for 4k monitors should be 32' or 40'. 37' seems to be a bit strange? Is there a big difference between 37' and 40'? The 40' costs a good bit more. Do most agree a curved monitor is just better in general? It seems like it would be because looking at the corners and edges would be easier?
How does one get an edu/epp email?
Thanks.
