That is a great knife. I own it but don't use it as much. Very sharp. Bigger than it looked in photos, IMO. I paid about the same for it. I think it's a steal at that price, if you need one.

The knife is massive. Makes an AD-10 look small.

Not trying to deal poop but from the video on Amazon, it does look too big to carry around in your pocket all day. The specs say 10.2oz, over 5/8 of a pound in your pocket. If you are a knife guy, which I am, it is pretty cool, though! It is just not great as an EDC.

This is the same price as Midway, who usually has the best deals on Cold Steel knives but free shipping starts at $100 so if you're only getting this knife you wouldn't have to deal with that.

Thankfully I looked at the video you mentioned. Thinking I'll have to wear it on the belt, but if it's too much there, I'll just keep it in the bag and take on hikes.

Very cool, very well made knife. But just a heads up it is huge. This cannot be emphasized enough.

is this good to keep in a car in case I need to cut a seatbelt?

a few weeks ago I came upon a car accident with a person inside and realized I didn't have any way to cut a seatbelt so now I want to buy something to keep in the car for those situations.

Interesting that the title (on amazon as well, so not OP's fault) says G-10 handle when in reality it is not G-10. The materials are what make this Scout version of this knife so affordable, the original has G-10 and a higher quality steel, this has griv-ex (which is a fancy name for plastic) and an AUS10A blade. The materials are fine for this price, but the handle is nowhere near as substantial feeling as the original 4max with G-10.

Not really, overkill. Something like resqme (window punch with seatbelt cutter) is safer, easier to carry and only $12.10 for 2 on Amazon at the moment. Another route would be a pair of trauma shears, which should be in every car, in an aid bag of some type.

It'll definitely work for that. Cold Steel's knives are still good quality even after changing ownership a few years ago.
But there are other tools designed for cutting seatbelts specifically, so those might be better.
