Baller knife. I use it with some momentum like an Axe to shred sticks into firestarter. This thing is a huge beast.

Whole bunch of cold steel at similar discount in Amazon right now...
I mean I think the max 4 MSRP is 141 not 60 do thing and a bunch on sale similar discount
S35 code 4 at 79 seems decent price
Unfortunately most seem to be aus 10 like this and the raj on sale

Looks interesting but I know I will never carry it. Just way too big and heavy.

It's a truck knife. Concealable when you dismount if you like. It's awesome in that role. Great for chopping, plenty of belly for slashing. Not so good for stabbing.

Back in 2019, Woot was dumping tons of Cold Steel knives dirt cheap. I bought several Code 4 and Swifts in CTS-XTP for $30. Goldeneye in S35VN for $45. Bought a few others with lesser steels too. I doubt we will ever see those prices again.

Don't see any of those those posted by you
I do see an s35vn lawman for 83
Right now code 4 s35vn is 60 something from Amazon

No idea how those compare
I have several cts xhp swift and golden eye and several others several s35vn ad10
I've not ever paid more than $80 new for any.

I would like to pick up one of the giant espada or whatever they are called but doubt the price they were several years ago will ever come again.

Yeah I bought a ton of those and colossus, the biggest recon and several others. Also purchased some from cold steel direct and Amazon s&s (ad10) at similar pricing
Use swift as my edc most of the time because although the blade dulls quickly it also takes about 5 sec to refresh with diamond steel.

I think the Swifts I bought were 55 guess I missed the 30 that would have been nice

Why unfortunately for aus10 steel ? Maybe fortunately because it is a good steel, performs well (for the price), and unlike a $250+ knife, you'll actually use it and not cringe if it gets scratched or shows wear. I'd rather have a aus10 knife in my pocket and being used rather than an expensive knife that simply lives in your collection, forever pristine and will never be used.

I believe cpm154, 154cm and the like are slightly better and I have hundreds of those knives from back when they were cheaper than dirt. I'd rather have same characteristics with better corrosion resistance.

I have had bad luck with aus8 blades snapping so not thrilled with possibility of a less tough version.

And my daily carry is usually a cold steel swift cts xhp which I'd say is so much better than aus8/10 it's not remotely close and that was $55.99 new to me when I purchased several from via different accounts on Woot. So not much more to less than aus10.

I mean if you could buy magnacut for $60 or aus10 for $55 what would you think of aus10?
