My partner hurt her neck really badly and was relatively immobile, I got this and a tablet stand for her and it allowed her to read books lying down

I could see this being useful for folks casting their tablet to their TV because the text is too small for them to read otherwise.

Great for patients at the hospital who would rather read a book.

Thanks. Was looking for one to use while on the threadmill. It's a lightweight one so the tablet holder gets wobbly if I touch it while in use. Much better to use a remote.

OMG, reaching all the way down to the tablet already in my hands is so hard that I need a remote.

I don't like this kind. The Tik Tok controllers are better for me. Was also going to try an 8Bitdo Micro whenever I catch a sale.

Like these for the airplane when my arms are under a blanket!

This is only useful when you are reading in bed lying down and have a way to prop up your kindle. Coz that thing gets tiring after a bit depending on how you hold it.

I think these work by physically clicking on the screen. This means you can only go forward. It is useful for Kindles which don't have bluetooth integration, but if using on an iPhone or Android there are smaller bluetooth finger ring scrollers that only have one piece (instead of this 2 piece setup) and would let you scroll forward and backwards.

I use mine with a tablet holder that clamps to the headboard. This way I can read in bed like Lincoln Rhyme without having to take my hands out from under the covers to flip the page.
