Read the 3 star reviews. Not promising.

Dang. I really can't imagine wanting this product. I know this is a website about buying stuff, but this is such consumerist garbage. I am incapable of understanding how turning the page with this is in anyway superior to just touching the kindle button or screen or whatever, how it's worth $5, or how the plastic e-waste is justifiable. Just think about what this is for a second.

How do you plug in your e book page turning remote control to charge up, and not just feel like the biggest rube on earth?

You know, there are people who are disabled, or don't have manual dexterity, or have difficulty with manual tasks for whatever reason. They deserve to read, too.

yep, my father is disabled. extremely limited dexterity in his hands, can barely work a smartphone. no issues reading books, he would also call this rather silly. quite ableist of you to assume disabled people have never read prior to this thing being invented

Your dad can read books with ease, good for him. You know not every single disable person is exactly the same as your dad, right?
Eye issues, neck/spine mobility issues, all sorts of different and varied conditions can cause people to be in different health states, with different levels of mobility, agility, functioning. Pretending like you've got a pretty good bead on every single disabled person because you know one disabled person is pretty messed up. Like saying you know all black people are OK with something because you know one black guy and he's OK with it.

This is just a promotional campaign by the brand. Limited to 200 pieces. The original price has always been $19.99.
