Lot's of lying Vine reviews. "I ordered this camera"... no you didn't. Also be aware there is a subscription necessary for this to save videos. Otherwise all you will get is pictures.

I don't want to argue, and clearly you have more experience with Vine than me. However, the majority, even for junk, of Vine reviews are positive. In the old days, if you made too many negative reviews, you would get kicked from Vine. Maybe it has changed. Even still, the fact someone is getting something for free (or has to pay tax) still influences their review of the item. I therefore don't put any value on Vine reviews.

I'm in Vine. We get to pick items we want, so I consider that ordering. We just don't have to pay.

Write a lot of amazon reviews for things you buy, and eventually they'll email you an invite to join.
Oh awesome thank you!

I own some eufy cams and they are not reliable for bird watching, sorry. And just so you know, I got those cameras off the Vine program lmao. This past week, a pair of birds (I've seen them fly in several times) have been trying to nest on my camera every single day. Whenever I open the door, all of their damn twigs and whatnot fall down to the ground. I hate what they've done with AI for sound filtering as well -- like they try to mute the sound of doors and whatnot. Hate how the app fails when I need to pull a video up too.
Couldn't you just set it to motion detection? Set it so there isn't too much that moves in the background. Should work, no?

Just a heads up, Vine isn't some free-for-all. Most of the products are low quality, and reviewers still pay taxes based on the listed value. I was in the program last year and left because the inflated valuations were increasing my tax liability, and a lot of what we received wasn't worth keeping. Also, Vine reviewers generally don't have an incentive to leave five-star reviews. If anything, they tend to be more neutral or critical. The real issue is the flood of paid or incentivized five-star reviews from third-party sellers, which are usually pretty easy to spot, but AI is making that more challenging as time goes on.
But to progress to the higher levels of vine you do have to leave good reviews. They rate reviews based on keywords you use to give you an "insightfulness" score.  To reach higher levels of vine meaning you can get better things you have to maintain an insightfullness score of excellent over the course of a full "evaluation period" I am at what's called gold level. I was able to get a Countertop Reverse Osmosis Water Filter valued at $299 and a AFERIY DC060 600W Alternator Charger valued at $169 and a 12v 12amp Lifepo4 battery, and they are all awesome and all valued correctly. There's indeed a lot of overpriced junk, but that's why you get to shop and select what you want & nothing you don't. It's literally like shopping on Amazon, just a different catalog of stuff. You search and browse for items the same way as you do on regular Amazon. The items can change fast, even daily so you have to keep checking and jump on the good stuff when you see it. I will pay sales tax on exactly the same price of $169 for my AFERIY DC060 600W Alternator Charger as you would anywhere else. It wasn't marked up one single dollar. I'm not saying everything is like that, but you have to be smart. If you treat Vine like a free for all shopping spree, you'll end up with a lot of overpriced junk but if your smart, you can avoid the junk and find some really good stuff.

How do you get into it?
I'm pretty sure they randomly select buyers that purchase a lot on Amazon. I average over 500 orders per year. I think that's why they selected me but that's just my guess.
