Having used the normal SodaStream bottles for so long, I bought these mini ones about a month ago and loved them so much more, definitely much easier to manage than the full sized ones, especially if you don't want to make a full 32 oz drink every time. Also much easier to keep in a fridge to cool down, bought a set the other day when it was on sale for $10 and bought another one now, definitely recommend these

You don't use cold water to make your soda? I fill the bottles with water, and put them in the frig to get cold before I make soda. Supposedly, they hold the C02 better when the water is cold.

I wish there were a reliable consumer microplastic assay. My old bottles that I don't use any more are pretty cloudy, and I worry where all that surface plastic went...

That's what I'm saying -- these smaller bottles are much easier to keep in a fridge, to keep them cold until needed, compared to the larger ones. Especially in a mini fridge

Should read "Dishwasher safe?". My Bosch melted 2 different bottles (this size and the regular size). First and only time I used them in the dishwasher.

I wish there was a glass alternative for the model I have, the "art". When I ask Amazon AI about the expensive glass carafe that SodaStream sells, I get this:
No, the SodaStream Glass Carafe Duo Pack does not fit the SodaStream Art model. These glass bottles are specifically designed for the SodaStream Crystal and Penguin models only. The Art uses a different bottle attachment system that's incompatible with these glass carafes.

  • Aqua Fizz (customers confirm good fit)
Art Model Alternatives: Unfortunately, SodaStream doesn't make glass bottles for the Art model - it uses proprietary plastic bottles with a different threading system.

Got it last time it was on sale but in white. It's great for single servings. I would rather have multiple smaller bottles than one large bottle. It's just more convenient for me.

I've discovered many things can survive the dish washing cycle but not the dish heating/drying cycle (or degrade over time). My KitchenAid is pretty safe but my previous one really roasted stuff.

wow.. this is one of the cheapest price i've seen I think. I bought one around $10. These are much better IMHO than the larger one.. At least I reach for these more often. Cause I can finish one, but a larger one I put back in fridge, I come back later and it's out of juice.
