This laptop breaks my heart. I'd be in for 1 if you could lower the refresh rate to get better battery life. Stuck at 240hz means this thing only lasts 3-4 hrs at best.

Though this could be lower, I'd still opt for the eBay one with the longer warranty direct from Acer.

you should be able to set the refresh rate. I have not used this specfic one but have use many gaming laptops and have never had a issue setting a lower refresh. You might have to do it manually if they dont have a preset, but all that involves is setting it and create the profile.

As have I, friend. Give it a google search, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Most recently, the similarly priced one was for a 5060 and only 16gb of RAM.

It's a great laptop, and the screen is gorgeous. To be fair, you get a gaming laptop to game IMHO. Use the adapter and set it up. Happy with the build quality and the specs for the price are hard to beat.

Bought one of these at Best Buy. Fair condition. Looks pretty brand new beside marks on the screen from what I suppose is some cleaning stuff. Does not feel the most premium but it does seem to run well. Kind of an odd issue I am finding with the screen being washed out, maybe I have to go through settings

Check HDR settings. If always on, your desktop can look washed out
