These aren't bad tools, but they aren't brushless and the newer versions are significantly smaller and lighter. I do have them, and use the impact fairly regularly together with my brushless impact. But I only bought them because they were part of a 4-tool combo with large hard box for $200...

A little dramatic don't ya think?I'd personally grab these over any brushless Ryobi and not everyone is in the trades. These would be fine for most homeowners.

choosing an overpriced entry level brushed dewalt over a brushless ryobi is a wild take. Paying for a name doesn't guarantee a better tool. If your argument is 'just for home use,' then a brushed $25 Kimo or Dong Cheng from Amazon does the same job for a fraction of the price. Ryobi is factually better: it's lighter, more efficient, and more reliable and less money. To each their own.

You should check product specs. Both impacts are rated at 1700 in/lbs. and for the record, it's on a deal so it's not overpriced. It's one thing if we're talking suggested retail but it's a moot point given this context

$139 for brushed tools is not a good deal, unfortunately.
