Not sure which one you looked at, but the wallet one for example says it is rechargeable
The $24 Slim S that says Samsung Only is rechargeable, but not the first one linked in the thread. It looks like the original Slim has a non-rechargeable 7 year battery compared to the Slim S with a rechargeable 1 year life. The Slim looks thicker than the Slim S but I can't find official dimensions for it.
