These have historically gone on sale for less than $150. In 2024 these were about $200 msrp.

No, they absolutely did not. You and others are thinking of the original version. This is the updated v2 that wasn't even released until mid 2025.

People only downvoting this because they don't realize it's the v2 model of this speaker that was released mid 2025. The older model is the one that's been on sale for less. This newer version has all different drivers and a better crossover than the original. It also provides quite significantly improved treble response and also better bracing on the inside to prevent cabinet resonance.
