Just wanted to add a data point.

This worked for me today in Texas for an S26+.

I went to Walmart and bought the Moto G 2025 64gb, turned it on and got to the home screen, went to spectrum and traded it in.

Spectrum had to select "Other" for carrier and I got the $400 off plus $705 for the trade in. It seems like taxes were on the price of the phone minus the trade in value, so taxed on $395 at 8.25% taxes were $32.58.

In total I paid $27.57 to Spectrum (1100-400-705=-5 +32.58 tax)

On top of that I paid Walmart $32.35.

So all in was $59.92.

It's instant in the spectrum stores. Online it takes a few weeks.

I think this is one of the cheapest, easiest to purchase phone that qualifies for $705.

The phone activates with eSIM but the pSIM (physical) slot is locked too. It won't work with your TracFone SIM until it's unlocked.
Btw i tried an 26 ultra removed from my account to try to add a new line and it instantly recognized it and denied me with the same error message.
Honestly I dont think Karma_Joy successfully traded in any s26 directly for an s26 unless it was across two different accounts. This is why you hear absolutely zero success stories from anyone else except karma Joy. He's either just trolling and stringing everybody along or not telling the entire truth.
I suspect trading an S26 for an iPhone and then an iPhone for an Ultra would work but there has to be the in-between trade or perhaps a secondary account that you're trading the s26s on. The reason is because The system recognizes that you've already obtained a promotion to get the S26 and immediately stops you from trying to get in to get anything else S26 related.
I mean let's be realistic. In a thread with thousands of thousands of views and everyone and their mom across the United States getting these S26 phones... It would be statistically impossible for not one other person to tell me that they were successful in trading in S26 directly for another variant of an S26 on the same account.
In any case my account is giving a fraud flag now which is very sad so I can't even open new lines and I only have four lines on my account. I did three upgrades got blocked from the fourth one. Went back the next day still blocked and I couldn't even add lines also blocked with the same error message telling me that I need to shop online instead

My account is also blocked. Not even a single device this year Frown
I am really tempted to do online upgrade for getting an Ultra, but afraid of the trade-in. If it screws then will be out of ~1000 bucks.
If you find any solution for removing this block then do let me know.

New Spectrum Internet and new mobile customer, how many free phone mobile lines can I add in store?
Plan to sign up for internet and mobile and do trade in in store tomorrow.
Will unlock phone after 60 days and port over to VZW but keep internet and mobile lines active for 1 year.
Internet with Spectrum is only $10/mo more than my current service plus cost of my time to reconnect house.

Any suggestions for good deal on byo wifi router for Spectrum?

No other way unless the rep gives you the direct line. In one store, the rep gave me his number and I don't know it is his number or direct line number of the store and it worked.

Per rep, up to 20 lines and only 1 is free line. For WiFi router, I bought TP-Link Archer C4000 MU-MIMO AC4000 routter from eBay 3 years ago for $40 and it is working well for me with Spectrum internet. I am using WiFi heavily with 11 security cameras, video streaming, etc.

Thank you. Online only shows 1 line free.
Getting new phone numbers, not port # from VZW.
Unlock after 60 days and move to phones to VZW.

Hopefully Spectrum internet/wifi will be ok since it looks like I'm locked in for 1 year.

This is a heck of a deal guys. Existing customer with 2 lines (me and wife). She traded in her Galaxy S23 and received $790 credit and got the phone for $1.50. I traded in my Pixel 7 and received around $720 and got this phone for about $76. All in all spent less than a hundred dollars for 2 new phones paid in full. Was super easy and quick. Highly recommended if you have Spectrum.

Ok, thx. Might make sense for me to add a 2nd line for 60 days at an additional $50/mo to get a S26+ free with trade in. Total cost only $130 incl Moto 5g trade in, after 60 days. My local store isnt allowing 2nd trade in on same line and deal expires on 4/21 so running out of time. As long as I can cancel 2nd phone line after phone unlock after 60 days.

That doesn't show online, but must be a limited mobile plan, which will work since I am not planning on using the phones. $20 mobile plan for 60 days is a win!
Thank you!

I just signed up for internet online to obtain cash back and went to store and they told me about a $400 extra credit/bonus for new internet subscribers that add a phone. The only catch was/is that the phone had to be on installments and I paid in full. So now they promised a work around. I'm not sure if it's just for the Ultra but I was in the process of checking out and as he was starting it --I said I really like the size of the Ultra and then he said oh if you buy and Ultra then we could give you a $400 credit--which would more then offset the extra $200. We will see how he does that deal and might need to be done after the internet is installed which will be Mid May (after my grandson is done with his semester in college) and I just paid for Frontier for another month. Your phones can and will activate before your internet is installed if you choose to. I chose the $40 internet plan to get the free installation.

So far I have 4 lines on the new service and sales person said up to 20 but that will depend on credit and I guess how you pay for it. For some reason Spectrum had challenges with my credit cards for the purchase. I had to use another credit card and both of them came back with did you make the purchase and fraud alert. One charge was $321 and the other one was only 132 so absolutely no reason for them to question it. Then I looked at my billing statement for Spectrum and it's showing I owe the $321 so I called credit card to see if it went through and they said it did but Spectrum refunded it back so there was something going on with their system. I'm heading in there today and probably tomorrow to get the fraud released from my account through the manager. I have to assume it was the credit cards that triggered it.

There is a really good cash back site that did have a $200 cash back on the Ultra--I'm hoping that they add the + but will see. That is where I should get up to $200 CB for internet.

It definitely wasn't on the full price but I have no idea how they figured it. I paid in full so and it was put on a free line so their was no activation fee, no monthly fee, and taxes were 32.59. It says taxes are based on the full amount of your devices but I can't figure out how it was figured. The extra $5 credit reduced taxes to 27.58.

The other 2 I purchased were on the same receipt and I had to pay $20 ea for activation and $20 for monthly service. Taxes on the purchase was was 65.18. The total bill was $135.16
Per line
$40.00 (activation and monthly service)
(5.00) credit for trade-in
(.01) clueless on this
32.59 taxes

Taxes varies on where u live

Now my question is---are there taxes on top of the $20 monthly fee for 1GB or are they included in the fee already. I hate to say it but I think there will be taxes on it Frown. Phone taxes are the pits and expensive in TX
For TX, I think you got charged sales tax on the $400 discount of the phone. Not sure how Spectrum structured the discount but it seems like it's an after tax credit instead of a pre-tax discount off the retail price.
