Also got the $705 credited back to CC today... Yesterday, I did online chat to open a "Service Ticket" to request "Remaining Credit Balance" of $705 back to CC.

I sent my trade-in, and the UPS tracking shows it was delivered on 4/27. However, the trade-in site still says I need to send it, and I haven't received any email updates. Is anyone else experiencing this?
I don't know how many times I said this. Ignore the trade-in site because it normally doesn't update until you receive the status email about your trade-in device. For the status of your trade-in device, per Assurant, client needs to allow up to 10 business days from the delivered date for processing. Until then still no email from them, client can email to "[email protected]" to inquire the status and make sure to include the trade-in information as much as possible like the offer number, etc; so that they can identify yours.

Yours is already 7 business days, I believe you will receive an email in the next few days; so be patient.

Mark 60 days from the date you activated the phone on your calendar.

I kept track the activation date on each of them in the google keep note app of my Google account; so I know when it is time or not.

Thanks I was hoping it would show up on phone. I didn't write down the date and didn't activate all them at the same time so I'll have to figure it out. They will be within 4 or 5 days of first one. Challenge will be trying to only pay for the first 60 days. I did have one activated the day I bought it so I'll probably have to put another phone on that line to get it unlocked before the next billing cycle. I might just have to put a few of them on the free line for a few days to get them unlocked to avoid paying the 3rd month. I found it via emails on activation. One of them will unlock on statement closing date and the others (if it goes by when I activated it) will be 1 and 2 days later so it would hit another statement date unless I shut the line down and move them to the free line.

Damn. Just heard back from Assurant and they adjusted my offer to $0 due to "Equipment Mismatch". When I selected my trade in device, I selected "Moto G 5G" and "128gb" storage, entered the IMEI, and was offered $5 trade in credit + $700 promotion. But I am guessing what I chose on the website was probably a different variant/model in their system than what I had. I just emailed Assurant so hopefully they will re-evaluate. I did this deal last year for the S25 and went smoothly. Let's hope for the best. Here's the email below if anyone is curious or runs into the same problem I did.

"We've received your device and, upon inspection, have adjusted the offer. Please accept or decline the offer before 5/17/2026. See below for details and next steps.

Device and Offer Details
Make: Motorola
Model: XT2417D Moto G 5G 2024 128GB Green - TracFone
IMEI: xxxxxxxx
Trade-In Credit: $0.00
Your trade-in credit was adjusted for the following reason(s):
Equipment Mismatch
What's next?

Click here to take action on your adjusted offer. You'll also find details about the adjusted offer including device condition, photos and other information. Remember to accept or decline the offer before 5/17/2026.

If you decline the adjusted offer, we'll mail your device back to you. If you don't take action before 5/17/2026, the device will be processed at the Revalued Offer. *If your device is assessed at $0 or you decline the adjusted offer, you will not be eligible for any Promotional Credit."
I have the same issue with the same phone. Drop down menu when I selected trade in did not specify year. I called spectrum and they agreed that it was not a mismatch. Spectrum opened a ticket and would get back to me in 6-7 days. I could not reach anyone at assurant.

Chat with them. Ask for exact date of unlock.

Rep told me today that "Trade-in promotional credits are applied as account credit. These credits cannot be manually refunded or transferred to the original payment method. Only regular credits (non-promotional) may be refunded to the card on file if applicable. The trade in promotional credits, cannot be transferred to your payment method. There is not an option in the system to do that."
Is that true ? Anybody got the credits to their Credit Card/original payment method ?
Update: received to my Credit Card today

Search back through your email. Spectrum emails you each time a device is activated.
