I mean charge of $799 for the phone, then it's showing credit or payment of $705. So what I mean is the entire credit is reflecting in my next spectrum bill.
if u want the $705 keep paying your bill then do nada. if u want it as refund back to your cc then CALL.

Yesterday I was able to unlock my S26 Ultra that I have activated 2 months ago on my free line. Since then it was inactive until yesterday. You see it doesn't need to be active on the line all the time for 2 months.

Nice! How often are you rotating in new phones to put on the free line to get them unlocked?

I dont think you would need to bring it back on a spectrum line to get it unlocked. I was able to give the IMEI and they unlocked it. YMMV may be

My first unsuccessful SIM unlock attempt. Purchased in store on March 11th activated with esim. Unlock attempt failed this morning by chat. I'm not sure if it's the esim to psim or if it's something else. I have a ticket with tier 3 IT escalations department supposedly so hopefully it will be resolved in the next few days. I'm not looking forward to unlocking all my other phones at this point it's like pulling teeth with spectrum chat reps. Good luck to everyone else
Sorry to hear that. They are definitely going to have a ton of requests for phones to get unlocked. That's for sure. If they were smart--they would just let them unlock themselves at the 60 day mark and try and eliminate this customer service crap.

Are you really sure about that? I always brought it back into active state on my free line in order to do unlocking.

Did you activate it on your free line or the new line? Is the line still active?

Anybody bought and activated this phone on the new line and was able to unlock it successfully with the new line was already closed or no longer active any more?

Wow, that was easy. Assurant received my trade in and the $705 credit is already showing up on my bill. I'm going to try and request a credit to my card. My second trade in is a few days behind, so hopefully that one is as smooth as the first.

I did both trades by mail. I wanted the sky blue color and didn't want to deal with the store.

I remember doing it last year as well like this. They all ask which device it is and ask last 4 digit. I would tell I switched the device recently to use the another SiM card for the international travel. They ll open a secure form to enter full IMEI and will respond it's done. I only tried doing this on 61st day.

By any chance, did the customer service rep tell you that the device has not been active on your account for 60 days even though it has been?
