Lol I like this guy.. Shows the people from Thermomaven giving him the cheat sheet how it's better than the Thermopen.
TLDW: Maven has LIFETIME warranty where the TP only does 5 years..
Easier to change between C and F with the Maven
Already comes with a magnet.. Lol TP charges $30 for a magnetic silicone boot for theirs. Looks ugly af too
Con
Rotates only 180 degree, not 90 degree like the TP. So easier to read on the TP
Both are pretty fast in reading temps, about the same. I think this .5 and 1 second instant read advertisement is BS anyways. Only way to truly tell is to test it yourself. Like the dude in t he video
For $10 I'd get it over the Thermopen that's like $60 when it's on sale.

Reading off thermomaven's marketing statements to prove it's better than a thermapen is hilariously dumb. (WOW A BOTTLE OPENE!!!!!) I can't deny the speed of the cold water test but it's two tests at one temperature and not controller in any way with lots of human error.
We'll see how well their warranty actually is, lifetime can mean nothing if the company is defunct (unlikely) or difficult to deal with.
Warranty also means less if your thermometer is actually built with quality from the start (thermapen) or built cheap (thermomaven).
I mean at $10, I'm sure it's a good deal. I read a lot of positives on thermomaven when looking at the probe but i don't think you should even try to say it's better than the thermapen one.
