I couldn't get the S26+ price below $924 after applying a trade, putting it the cart and going through checkout.

Given how few upgrades the non Ultra models have been receiving, I don't think this is worth it. Last December the S25 Ultra was around $100 cheaper than this and is still almost identical to the S26U while there are still some Ultra exclusive features that haven't trickled down...
That needs a port, as well as it's a locked phone. Some people value that differently
Actually no port needed, and it unlocks after 60 days. I think its currently the best deal on a S26 Ultra and it also has really good trade in values through mint too bringing the price even further down.
