No. $400 off the top. S26 Ultra is $899 already (not $1299). Get a cheap prepaid phone (I have a Galaxy A03s), they'll give me $5 + $700 promo credit = $705. My total will end up being $194 + tax. Pay in full. There's no way I would give up my S25 Ultra in this case. It's worth more selling on the private market.
I did this a month ago and got an S26 the same way. I'll do the S26 Ultra tomorrow on the same line.
I do in-store, though. Sales tax is applied differently (since your trade-in is evaluated and applied right away) as opposed to doing it online and waiting for the promo credit to hit.

No. Pay the cost of the phone at checkout, send in your trade-in and you'll get the FULL value applied to your account. You can call/chat and have that credit applied as a refund to your credit card.
If you're paying in full, there is nothing involving "3 years" at all. It's paid.

Yes! And it's MUCH better. At least in TX and many other states, you make out a lot better because you only pay sales tax on the amount AFTER your trade-in is applied.
If you do it online, you pay the FULL sales tax of the device and the credit is applied later, no sales tax refunded.
I will literally save something like $95 doing it in-store rather than online.

Can you end the contract with Spectrum before the 36 months without getting charge the full amount or need to be in contract for the whole time?

Spectrum Mobile service itself does not require a contract. You can end it anytime. But if you still owe a balance on the phone when you terminate service, that balance becomes due immediately. Any credits you were receiving will also stop.

Still is a good deal. If you take advantage of this correctly, you'll pay about $200 out of pocket for an S26 Ultra that will be unlocked in 60 days and you'll own it free-and-clear.

I still have s24 ultra from previous deal, as someone said, pay in full and talk to CC to get the refund immediately, thats what I did two years ago. hope this deal is same. spectrum mobile coverage sucks in most part, partly due to priority, I switched to US Mobile and much happier now. Spectrum internet is not bad but gets expensive once offer period is over!

The concept is the same with this promo. Btw Spectrum internet is super cheap if you know how to work the system a little bit (zip code can also play a part.) I literally have free Spectrum internet and mobile.

Yes,if you trade in S26 U from a carrier other than Spectrum. You can't trade in one S26 series phone from spectrum for another S26 series phone,
You can buy you wont get $700 trade in bonus

Let's say someone who wasn't a current Spectrum customer went into the store, signed up for their cheapest internet service, and also took advantage of buying two S26 Ultras at the same time, and paid them off fully.
Then that person, within a few days, canceled the internet service. Would there be any issues?
Or would it be necessary to carry the internet service for the 60 days until the phones were unlocked?

Your phone also will be cancelled along with your internet service. So, you must maintain internet service for at least 60 day for your phones to be eligible to unlock,

That was the case with the previous promo, and now with the updated promo, it seems possible (tested online until final checkout page. Now waiting at the store to try this out). I paid $451 on top of my s25+ trade for my S26 Ultra, which sucks now looking back

How does the $705 credit work? Does it make mine internet bill cheaper? Because they want me to pay $790 today with $705 credit once they get my old phone.

So it looks like $1299 for Samsung S26 Ultra - $432 for my S25 Ultra Trade-In + $700 Spectrum Promotion Credit = $167 + tax = No Brainer?
The no-brainer is to keep the s25 and get a Moto 5g from Walmart and trade that in instead.
