Can I do 2 trade-in for 2 separate lines at the same time? I have internet but no phone lines with Spectrum(had 2 lines 6 months ago before switching to Visible). Now, I am thinking to go into store and ask them for 2 lines hoping 1 could be free for the year and one could be paid(by the gig plan). Can I buy 1 s26+ and 1 ultra? Either in the same transaction or in 2 but at the same time and on the same account? TIA
Yes you can do this easily.

I already have 1 line in which I opted for S26+. If I do one more by adding a line, how long do I need to keep that line open?

Went into a store today in California. I already had a line with Spectrum that was eligible for an upgrade. I traded in an iPhone 12 Pro and walked out with an Ultra. Paid everything upfront. Total out of pocket was $119 for the Ultra + $117 for sales tax and fees = $236. Now just have to wait the 60 days for unlock. Slick deal. Thanks OP.
I currently use spectrum with an iPhone, but I am trading in a s21 ultra, do I need to use the s26ultra for 2 months in order to unlock it?

Does anyone know if i can trade in an s26 from a separate mobile carrier that I'm still receiving bill credits on? Do you think the other carrier would somehow find out and remove my promotional credits?

Went into a store on Saturday in CA and walked out with a S26 Ultra for under $100 by trading in my S24+. Took forever to do the test. Longest part was trying to take a picture of the back of the phone. Rep tried to skip it after multiple tries and system gave me 10% of the expected trade in value of the S24+ ($21). Had rep check their site for full value and we did the test again. Was able to finally get everything to pass and got full value ($208) for my S24+. Overall a smooth process and a great deal.

I'm in CA. In store, I paid $188 after tax (trade in iphone 16e) for the S26 Ultra. Everything has been paid in full and upfront. If I unlock the phone after 60 days and port out, is there going to be charge back for the $400 promo discount ?
Absolutely no charge back since you paid upfront

So the tax is cheaper in-store vs online in Florida. Shits $91 online
Yes because online they charge you the tax on the full price of the phone in store they charge you tax on the full price of the phone minus the trade-in but they don't account for the instant credit the $400 so you do have to pay the tax on that

Has anyone that has been "locked" or "banned" from purchasing more phones in store able to call the "Spectrum Fraud Department" to lift it and be free to purchase more?
I ran into that....tried different store but no luck so just ended up doing it online. Phone agent said it's probably because the rep tried to do two new lines at the same time. His assumption was that the system checks for credit to allow financing (even though I was gonna pay it in full) and if the amount is too high it trips the alert and only way around is to order online or via phone. Dumb system but it is what it is. I was really hoping to avoid doing trade in via mail but oh well.

Why over complicating it?
Get the Moto G 2025 that had been proven to work (and cheapest option) and get the deal.
It this one here:

Instruct Spectrum that it's listed under "Other" carrier from their trade-in. Test the trade-in on Spectrum website so you're prepared.
You sir are THE MAN!!! Got that Moto delivered from Walmart for 30 bucks! Went to the store at LA Mid City and they knew exactly what to do with it. My agent was Maria, she knew what was up! THANKS!

DP: Went to store 1 in NC, they upfront told me nothing in stock, couldn't tell other store had it. Drove 20miles to another store, employee was helpful got 2 phones out(26U and 26+) started processing first trade in, then second employee ask him to help him with something, they went inside and came back stating there's an issue with the devices, so they have to order online. SMH, I told them that does not make sense and called out the other employee that it was going through until you tried to help and now there's issue with phones. Finally first employee said let me try and then he was able to go through the process for first and told me the amount but couldn't do the second one. So, he did two separate transactions. But could either send me bill or breakup of 2nd purchase(SMH) and I can't find it online in my account in orders(can only see the first one).
Overall, took more than an hour but I was out with 2 phones(26+,26U). Cost was $79 for +, and $309 for Ultra. It looks like Account activation was not waived for ultra. Was told to check with CS.

Anyone have any luck with CS to waive that now?

Also, any recommendations for case? Ultra is really huge, I am thinking should have got another plus. But oh well.
