Edit: looks like ebay is offering me some coupon not related to this product. $10 off for using paypal.
Box was pretty rough, though I'm not convinced that caused the below issue, as the were additional cardboard structures in the box that kept things together. Where the clip is that is broken should not have been influenced from the box damage.
HOWEVER - mine is broke at the tube - I saw one other Walmart review that showed the same broken part. Pic attached. The broken part is pathetic in thickness (maybe 1.5mm thin, maybe closer to 1mm thin). There is zero reason this part should be this thin and breakage prone!!!! And that someone else also posted the exact same issue proves it is susceptible to breakage. Really disappointed in this aspect. Have not even fired up the vacuum yet. Will look at talking with Dyson tomorrow, but a few of the postings I read offered a "return and rebuy" option only. Kinda silly process for a $10 part. And the sale price is no longer active

I also found a very small sliver of red plastic. It was not obvious it was tied to the broken part, but I have also not found where else this sliver of plastic came from. It looks like it would be the top of a clip, but I'll have to look further tomorrow to see if I can identify where it came from. Red colored parts are not rare on this vacuum, so it may take some digging. Or it could be the back of the clip that is broken? I'm realizing that is a possibility as I'm attaching pics. Well - I'm unable to attach pics.
I ordered getting eBay to leverage 2 year warranty just in case if anything goes wrong. But, highly recommend this vacuum and it's detangling feature worked like charm with no trace of hair to the brush
