I just read/watched a ton of reviews and videos comparing those two. Both TV's are really close. I think overall the TCL has a picture with better HDR performance in the shadows. The Hisense is a bit brighter and has slightly better motion performance. The TCL also has a less reflective screen, which might be nice in a bright room with lots of light sources. Apparently the Hisense has a newer CPU which may possibly see more firmware upgrades to improve performance. But I'm not sure if firmware upgrades have ever really changed things drastically. I think I'm leaning towards the TCL myself.

i just picked up an 85" hisense U7... it's amazing. I watched a side by side comparison of it with the TCL and the hisense sold me, after I was previously set on the TCL. I think they're both excellent choices and some of the choice comes down to taste/preference. Choosing whichever is cheaper is a great way to decide as well!
