This has saved me so much time to find my keys or wallet in my room when i am in a hurry. So many times i am like where is my wallet i know its in the room but its under the blanket in my pocket under the pillow instead of searching all over i can just ping it and find it in 10 seconds .

Thanks Op. Ordered the Gen 1 from Best Buy. Agree with prior posts, these things are very helpful if you are in the Apple ecosystem. I throw them in suitcases to track them at the airport and most importantly, attach it to my car keys. I lost one key fob before I started using these and it is crazy expensive to replace a key fob now.

I considered the Gen 2, but I have a number of the Gen 1 in use already and mixing them up would not be ideal for me. If you want to go the Gen 2 route, the current Costco promotion may probably the best price available.

I did happen to have the randomly sent Best Buy $5 reward certificate that arrived recently, so that was an easy use for it - since it covered my sales tax. I don't know why Best Buy sent it since I haven't been much of a regular customer lately, so YMMV on that.

No they don't. Battery doesn't last as long and these can only give you general area location...not pinpoint location unlike the Airtags (UWB).
