I've had two of these, and each have had a cell fail at around the 18 month mark. They only charge to about 80% and just die around 23%, and all anker would provide was a coupon.

Hahaha. But just to be clear to everyone, there are no known fire recalls for this particular model. Recalls were related to the PowerCore 10000 and Power Bank A1257, A1647, A1652, A1682 and A1689 models.

This closes the gap a bit. INIU would be $30 but not have a color OLED with wattage info.

Mine failed right outside of warranty. Was pissed. I bought it when it first came out and thus paid close to full price. Was nice when it worked but I won't be buying any of their battery packs ever again. Their chargers are good though.

Just another data point: mine still works fine. Although I haven't used it all that often. Maybe a handful to a dozen times over 1.5 yrs?

Bit, will see how it goes. FWIW I've had 0 fails on Anker power banks, yes I know they had recall on some of their earlier banks, but none have died on me. Owned a PowerCore III Elite 19200 from 2021 until I lost it last month.

Same thing happened with my 737. I bought one of the first, and the health meter said it was fine when it wasn't. Anker fessed to early units having a broken health status and honored the warranty even a week after it ended.

I've gotten lazy. I've only buy these things if they have a built-in cord. Also that cord needs to be long enough.

I have two, both die once once under 30%, kinda sucks because I really enjoyed traveling with them, looking for better alternatives as we speak
