I agree. I have a small arsenal of AAA already. There have been some tempting deals on the AA Pros but I don't know enough to verify if the price to performance ratio warrants the upgrade to those

Are these batteries good to leave in a flashlight for occasional use in a car? Meaning will this hold the charge well?

For long-term storage of a rarely used or emergency item, I would probably go with some kind of lithium batteries (non-rechargeable) that have a 10+ year shelf-life in most temperature/storage scenarios and they maintain their voltage as they discharge.

If it's something you use semi-regularly and your life doesn't depend on it, these will be fine. They should hold a charge for quite a while (1 year+).

Agreed. I'm still using batteries from over a decade ago that get the job done. I can't remember the last time I bought disposables.

Though for some reason I have more AAs than AAAs. I think I'm the only one who likes this deal.

I would definitely pass on the Pro's. I have 10-year-old Eneloops still working. But every single one of my AA pros has died within a 2 year period. So I'm 0 for 8 with the Pro's

I bought my 4 pack of AA Pros in 2015 and have been using them lightly since then. Recently, I placed 2 in the charger and came back to find a blinking light on one of them. Does that mean it's dead?
